Inbound Warehouse Coordinator
Purpose
The Inbound Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all inbound warehouse activities to ensure stock is received, processed, stored, and replenished accurately and efficiently. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, managing receiving schedules, investigating stock discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse. The Inbound Warehouse Coordinator will also assist with supervising warehouse staff and ensuring operational targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Operations Management
Coordinate and manage daily inbound warehouse operations, including:
Receiving of stock
Quality control (QC) checks
Cycle counts
Stock replenishments
Store returns processing
Inventory discrepancy investigations
Plan and prioritize receiving activities based on business requirements and operational demands.
Ensure inbound shipments are received accurately and processed within agreed timelines.
Verify that all received stock matches purchase orders, delivery documentation, and system records.
Inventory Control
Oversee inventory-related tasks to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
Coordinate and monitor cycle count sessions and stock verification activities.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure stock replenishment activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
Monitor inventory movements and identify potential stock control risks.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Assist in leading and managing a team of warehouse staff.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor workflow to ensure productivity targets are achieved.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, teamwork, and safety.
Monitor employee performance and address operational issues promptly.
Operational Planning & Communication
Liaise with Stock Planners and other departments to coordinate receiving schedules and workload planning.
Ensure inbound activities are aligned with business priorities.
Communicate operational updates, challenges, and performance metrics to manager.
Escalate stock, supplier, or operational issues where necessary.
Process Improvement & Compliance
Identify opportunities to improve inbound processes, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records and reporting related to inbound activities and inventory management.

Receiving accuracy percentage.
Inventory accuracy percentage.
Cycle count completion and accuracy rates.
Stock replenishment completion rate.
Discrepancy investigation resolution time.
Inbound productivity and throughput.
Team performance and efficiency metrics.
Compliance with safety and operational standards.
Skills:
Strong organizational and coordination skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience managing and motivating a team.
Good understanding of warehouse processes and order fulfilment.
Proficient in warehouse systems and Excel; experience with Cin7 Core (DEAR) is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
